Established in 1965, Johnson Siding Volunteer Fire Department Fire Department has been serving our community for over 58 years. Our department has grown to include two stations, a fleet of modern fire trucks, and highly trained firefighters and EMT's..

Our mission is to protect and serve the community by providing rapid response to emergencies and promoting fire safety education. We strive to be leaders in the fire service and maintain the highest standards of professionalism.

EMR/Licensed Practical Nurse Rachel Strom
New volunteer with JSVFD
Rachel J. Strom has been with JSVFD for one month. She has lived in the Black Hills since 2018. Rachel has two frisky pups, Wonder Dog and Tulley Anne. She enjoys hiking, camping, watching wildlife, sewing, baking and reading. Rachel is employed as a nurse with Pennington County's Sheriff's Office. She is very excited to be part of the Johnson Siding Volunteer Fire Department.
